Counselling

Who may benefit from counselling?

Each person is unique, with problems, attitudes, values, expectations and experiences that are unlike any other. In order to stay healthy maintaining the delicate balance between mind and body is vital. Unresolved stress, trauma and conflict can have a knock-on effect physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

When our lives are in a state of change, or when we have to deal with a crisis or traumatic event, even seemingly small problems can sometimes be blown out of proportion. At such times it can seem difficult to know where to turn, leaving us feeling isolated from friends and family.

Pathways counselling and psychotherapy group aims to provide a safe space in which to talk about issues which may be troubling you in your life, and to provide an opportunity for individuals and couples to work towards living and relating in a way which is experienced as more satisfying and resourceful.

What to expect from your counselling….
Counselling may be concerned with addressing and resolving specific problems, making decisions, coping with crisis, developing personal insight, knowledge and self-awareness, working through feelings of inner conflict or improving relationships with others.
